Exotic pets are safe as long as they are cared for properly. People should be allowed to keep dangerous pets as long as their enclosure is up to standards and isn’t putting the caretaker or the animal in danger. For instance, bulls are extremely dangerous animals and many farms still accommodate them. Or a lion in a circus, they are very dangerous, but have been domesticated to perform tricks and eat out of a human’s hand. Now some would argue that exotic animals are aggressive and will try to disembowel you. Well, consider this. If a house has a pit bull as a guard dog a thief will most likely scurry right down the fence. now imagine being met by a 300 lb bear or a jungle cat, they would run right back to mommy.
