Being faithful to your spouse to me, falls under the Fifth Commandment, “Honor your father and your mother” (Exodus 20:12), because you should be respectful of the ones you love most. Committing adultery breaks the bond that you commit to under God when you are married. Being faithful provides a way to show the Lord that you and your spouse can grow through God and be closer to the Higher Power. I would change the Eighth Commandment, “You shall not steal” (Exodus 20:15) to, “You shall be selfless”. Being selfless is what God wanted the Israelites to do. God wanted the Israelites to help out the people who were struggling and poor. I think this is a good thing to follow in life today. Instead of building yourself up and only caring about yourself you should help others grow and I think that could be a step in having a more positive world. The Ninth Commandment is, “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor” (Exodus 20:16). I feel, “Speak words of affirmation to thy neighbor” would be a better fit. Speaking positively of your neighbor would build great friendships and block out any chance of hating your neighbor which God frowns upon. If you speak highly of your neighbor, then your neighbor will speak highly of you and that would spread throughout the community and everyone would love each other and it would bring everyone closer
