Exodus 2:1-10 starts by talking about the birth of Moses. Moses was born to born to a couple of the tribe of Levi. The wife conceived and had a son and when she saw that it was a good baby, she hid him for 3 months. When she could no longer hide him, she sent her son down the river Nile in a basket to protect him. His sister watched as to see what would happen to the baby. She saved him by hiding him among the edge of the river to keep from being found.
Before Moses was born, The Pharaoh decided that he needed to control the Hebrew population and he ordered death to all of the male children that belonged to the Hebrew women, but let the daughters live. The Pharaoh ordered the midwives to drown of all male Hebrew babies by throwing them into
