This perpetuates the problem by creating an idealistic standard of your viewpoints and has the implication of normalizing the society within these pockets. As this normalization happens, societies often lose the ability to think for themselves and have their own individualistic characteristics. Therefore, this creates the perception within our generation that we are supposed to strive for a certain idealized standard of appearance as well as thought process. This only suppresses the creative bursts of energy within us until it withers away and is forced into the deep pits of darkness within us, as we distract ourselves with the mundane acts of normalizing as a way of seeking validation within our communities, rather than within
