Exercising Lab

Decent Essays
From the lab ¨What happens in my body when I run around school?” I learned that exercising causes chemical reactions inside the human body. In the human body you have food molecules and you have oxygen. How do you think you get carbon dioxide. Your food molecules react with the oxygen which is a chemical reaction. When you run around the school, you can have multiple chemical reactions. This lab we did, was to see what happens to the body when we run around the school and when we exercise. Our body acts differently and we are different when exercising. The body sweats more and you breathe harder and your heartbeat is faster than usual. We wanted to see what happens so that’s why we did this lab and had people to go run up and down the stairs

As a small group of the class, we were put together to test one person's heart rate, temperate and breathing rate of the group. The harvard step test was simple and effective to do to find out the heart rate, breathing rate and body temperature. In the small groups, we decided to do the experiment on stairs so the subject would simply step up one step and then step down again, and they would repeatively do this for 5 minutes, rest for 5 and then do it again another 2 times.…

Physical Environment Exercise #2-1 The two physical environments that I have chosen are my Bedroom, and my classroom. I believe that these two spaces contributed to my feelings of safety due to the fact that there was a common sense of warmth- four sturdy walls that surrounded busy, crowded furniture. I feel that being constantly surrounded by things -more so than people- gave me a feeling of security, and that I was never without something to comfort me. When human relations became too much, it was the isolation that came from physical objects (i.e. warm blankets to cover myself with, desks to do homework on, and the like) that would distract me from any problems that would threaten my sense of security.…
