Our body’s cardiovascular system delivers oxygen in order to create ATP. ATP is vital in energy production. Without energy, a person can’t workout like they desire to. People who exercise more have a greater VO2 Max. VO2 Max is the maximum oxygen consumed. This can also impact your physical performance because if you don’t have a decent VO2 Max, the person could get fatigued faster, ultimately causing them to stop. The information provided in this article is beneficial to the general public. I believe people could obtain knowledge on their cardiovascular system and the benefits they could reap through exercise. This article could easily be understood by even a person who has little expertise on the subject. In class, we expressed the different factors that affect aerobic exercise performance. Certain elements include acid-base state of muscle, age, gender, and genetics. Through this paper, I was able to broaden my understanding on the subject. The type of exercise is very crucial in developing the benefits. More emphasis should be given to increase strength and endurance. Some of the many benefits linked to regular physical activity include a reduction in the threat of developing chronic diseases such as heart disease, some forms of cancer, and type 2 diabetes. It also causes a reduction in submaximal systolic and diastolic blood pressure. This is evident in both patients who are hypertensive, and those who are healthy.
