It has been well documented that exercise provides numerous physical health benefits. However the majority of the population continues to dread this activity even thought it might make them happier as well as healthier. Articles aimed to establish a correlation between exercise and mood raised a fair amount of questions; many come from a substantial lack of both external and internal validity in the research. This paper aims to show how shortcomings of other’s research can provide an opportunity for us to supply relevant need-based information. Arguably the most confounding variable when studying exercise is fatigue.
