My goal in life is to serve justice towards those falsely accused of wrongdoing. In the US, around 2.3% to 5% of all prisoners are innocent. To put this into context, if 1% of all prisoners were innocent, more than 20,000 innocent people are in prison. Those 20,000 people could have done so much in their life, and could have contributed many different, could have been the ones to have been role models for others, been members of society that could have made a difference in today’s world. Not only does it ruins potentially successful careers, but it also gives a bad image towards the younger generations, as while the world we live in isn’t an ideal world, the innocent that are winded up in prison could have been proven innocent.
