He named the store Dan’s Market. Dan was his middle name, which he went by his whole life. He put his daughter to work as a cashier and gave her a chance to earn money. He gave his son a job stocking and cleaning the store. His wife also helped out when she needed to. There were several times people were down on their luck and needed help, so he did what he knew best and put them to work.
