Within the King James Version of the Bible in Matthew 5 verses 38-41 it is written,
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”.

The Master taught us that “whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.” Some of the most rewarding times of our lives are those “extra mile” hours given in service when the body says it wants to relax, but our better self emerges and says, “Here am I; send me.”’
This small children story shows that even though the little blue train was only used for menial tasks, it was willing to go the extra mile and become something better than what everyone wanted her to be. She took all the negative things impacting her life, put them aside, and motivated herself to go farther, and do more, than she ever thought she could. By going the extra mile the evil is dispelled because good overcomes everything that occurred before. By “[loving] your enemies,” it creates a reverse magnet affect, repelling the evil leaving only the
