The problem that the Brazilian Army is facing can bring serious problems for the formation and the training of the artillery Soldiers. The discussion about solutions goes through some alternatives to manage that situation or at least, finding a balance between Soldier’s preparation and resources management. One of the feasible alternatives to this problem would be increase the number of combined exercises among the artillery subsystems in order to save some resources. This way, instead of doing a certain number of exercises per year, it is possible to do combined exercises among the artillery subsystems replacing the conventional exercises. The advantages of the use of simulation includes, among others, the reduction of expenditures shifts to the training camps increasingly restricted as well as the transit of troops on the ground, reducing the accident risks. It also provides the economy with the maintenance of logistics activity, the reduction of damage to the military use of material garrisons still in teaching-learning process and the increased time available with the material at hand for the conservation activity; and the ammunition economy. Furthermore, it is essential consider that the simulator system will cover the different campaign artillery materials from mortars to rockets and howitzers through of all calibers. Another aspect to mention is the nature conservation times, notably for artillery, concerns the effect on the environment caused by carrying out real shot with large caliber ammunition. The simulation goes to allows Soldier’s preparation for the missions assigned.
