Executive Coaching is an intervention in which a coach works with a newly promoted supervisor or an executive over a period of months to improve areas of behavior that negatively impact his or her career. As we grow in our careers we tend to take with us everything we learned along the way in order to be successful. At the same time, you get to be in a position where you need guidance in order to learn how to manage. This was very useful to me in terms of trying to apply it in my professional life and also how I could suggest that it can be applied at job. I also saw the opportunity of executive coaching to be applied to some of my supervisors who have the potential to become managers. I have employees that are arrogant and insensitive.
