The executive branch consists of the president, vice president and other executive departments run by members of the Cabinet. (Nowaczyk, 2003) The Cabinet is a body of presidential advocates whose agencies execute policy in various areas. Among the agencies are the Departments of Defense, Commerce, Education, Energy, Labor, State, and Justice. Nevertheless, the executive branch of government criminal law is to enforce and implement the laws created by the legislature, as well as to enforce the orders of a court in the United States. (Hall, 2014) The laws requiring the creation of a law enforcement officers requires the members of the executive branch to decide how to run the agencies, how to hire officers and how to handle arrested subjects.
