They arrived on scene to see a disaster. The destruction was horrific, and very heart breaking. They immediately started looking for survivors and body covered in the rubble. They had to have other emergency crews from around the United States to rush and help. It was a long drug out process. The cleaning took over two weeks, they found 168 people dead and over 650 people injured. 19 children died in the bombing and over 300 surrounding buildings were destroyed.

They got consent to search the house in Kansas. They found receipts to bomb detonators, ammonium nitrate, and other things that were used in the bombing. They ran fingerprints over every piece of evidence. When the results came back they ended up finding Timothy’s fingerprints on a lot of the evidence. So they figured out that they both ended up doing the bombing. But there was another man. Not anyone who had helped with the bombing but who knew what was going to happen. Michael Fortier was the man who knew it was going to happen. While still in the military with Timothy they talked about Timothy’s plan to bomb the building. The government figured out he knew about it and told him if he confessed and testified against Timothy and Terry, he would get his prison time sentenced. He ended up doing
