To be honest I am writing this paper not because I do not care, but rather because others think that I do not care. Yes, my peers and I may come off as we do not care at times, but we are only humans and simply because our facial expressions may come off wrong, or work may come off not how you may want them, but my class and I do indeed care. Its understandable that excuses in some cases is unacceptable, especially in the real world after college. My future employers would not take some of my excuse, but hopefully they would be understanding and compassionate of the circumstances that may have risen. This assignment is for me to tell you some of the excuse that I have used and I probably can list a whole lot. So let me take you on my journey of excuses and I hope that you are ready for them. …show more content…
I made these excuses up, because I did not feel like doing an assignment right away, which leads me to procrastinate and not put all my effort into that particular assignment. My car battery died, or my mom would not let me take the car out, and I am too drunk, I used this excuse because I did not want to drive anywhere so therefore one of my other friends had to be the designated driver. Even though to others these may seem as if they are petty things but to me it allows me to reflect on the fact that I have done each and everyone of the excuses stated prior to this more than a handful of time. In each of these situations I had the opportunity to not only help my friends out, but also take time out to put more effort into my work that I hand into others as
