I refused to say a word to Polo as we walked down the hall again with him slightly in the lead this time. Once we got to the waiting area, which was just some chairs lined up against a wall, I just plopped down in a chair. I groaned as I ran my rans over my face. “You have some ball if can stand up to Brackish like that,” Polo commented setting with one chair between us. “I just want one of the last living pures to be free, is that too much to ask for,” I said to him but mostly to myself. “What do mean, there’s eighty left,” Polo seemed confused. “You do not know. The pures where killed off by normals, I am guessing Genetik, in a bombing raid. All but five, now six, died on their islands given to them by Anna,” I replied. “Why wouldn’t they tell me,” Polo asked shocked. …show more content…

All I need to do is get Scorcher and X and his sister out of here and report this dark place to Anna,” I might of said too much but Polo did not react, “Oh and by the way if I find out you touched Anna in the year that she lived with you alone, I will torcher beyond imagination then slowly and painful kill you.” He stopped staring at the ground to stare oddly at me then laughed. “I do not see what is so fun. I will seriously kill you,” I was a little weird out. “No it’s not that Cypruss. It just I would have no urge to touch Anna, I’m gay,” he replied. “I can see that you are happy but I do not see how that implies to my threat,” I said eyeing him oddly. He just started laughing again even louder than

Through deliberate selection of the medium of production, composers are able to offer and emphasise their own perspectives on politics. This is evident in Aldous Huxley’s dystopian prose-fiction novel, Brave New World (1932), and Bruce Dawe’s poem, ‘Enter Without So Much as Knocking’ (1959). Both texts capture the composers’ own political ideologies and caution readers of governments that abuse technology to manufacture a consumeristic, groupthink culture. Composer’s criticise government bodies which use science and technology to control citizens and engineer conformity. In Aldous Huxley’s cautionary tale, a significant event that highlights Huxley’s concerns for technological advancement is the tour with the “Director of Hatcheries” (DHC),…
