With the United States population rising, the demand for such a high volume of products has been increasing drastically, and with china as the only nation able to meet this demand, we see ourselves leaning on them heavier and heavier by the day. I look at this issue as having two variables, explanatory and response. Americans are not willing to give up the luxury of cheaply and easily obtained products that china offers, and in response, we find ourselves dependent on them. My assertions are not to make American people scared of Chinese made products, our world isn’t going to collapse or encumber into a small black hole when the next shipment of iphones hits the Los Angeles port, but when a nation like America, with the largest economy in the world is resting on the shoulder of another large superpower, we can safely assume that the stability between that will not last. Though the problem we face is changing the perspective that we have on this, especially with the effects down the road, many people are not willing to give up there
