The paper examines the bodies of water terminology appearing in the Croatian Glagolitic medieval texts. In liturgical Croatian Glagolitic texts these terms can be found only sporadically, due to their being mentioned mostly in the part of the Book of Genesis not having found its place in the missals. When it comes to non-liturgical texts, these terms match the terminology used in biblical texts.
