The tougher character from William Shakespeare’s tragedy Macbeth, Lady Macbeth or Macbeth. Toughness is a mental or physical capacity where you can understand something to the fullest extent and how you can resolve the situation. Lady Macbeth is tougher than Macbeth. Nevertheless, some advocate that Macbeth is tougher and focus on how Macbeth shows toughness in the way he leads with pride and passion. The way he fought two battles in one day. However, the tougher character is Lady Macbeth because Lady Macbeth is tougher than Macbeth. Also, Macbeth could barely talk about killing King Duncan. Which does show the passion and courage Macbeth has in his involvement in toughness. The situation all started at night time inside Inverness Castle in a dark, spooky part of the castle just after Macbeth killed King Duncan. Macbeth when he was going crazy and lashing out after he killed Ducan. Macbeth brought back the murder weapon. Which he wasn't supposed to and Lady Macbeth says to Macbeth, “Infirm of purpose!/ Give me the daggers. The sleeping and the dead/ Are but as pictures “(II ii 53-55). This line that Lady Macbeth says, talking to herself and Macbeth explaining that the way she tells Macbeth to give me the daggers, I'll put the daggers back into Duncan's room on Duncan's dead body.
