In science fiction movies that have artificial intelligence in them, the artificial intelligence is usually controlled by humans. Humans control artificial intelligence and are always scared of an uprising. It is not easy for anyone to coexist with anything they do not fully understand. Films set in the future usually demonstrate that technology is so far advanced and certain films show the repercussions of advanced technology. One of these films is the anime Metropolis. Metropolis does not demonstrate that the technology is at fault, instead it demonstrates that the humans are the ones that cannot handle coexisting with advanced technology.
