Stereotypes have influenced every part of our lives by the way we view other groups. Curly hates Lennie just by Lennie’s height. George and Lennie are the stereotype duo , tall and dumb; short and smart. These are just 2 examples of stereotypes in the book, “Of Mice And Men” by John Steinbeck. People will act differently around another group of people.
They will fear a group or individual based on a stereotype. Lennie’s appearance makes people fear him because he is strong and tall. While Lennie and George were in Weed, George said,” Jus’ wanted to feel that girl’s dress [...] she jerks
