“Macbeth” by Shakespeare
In this essay I’m going to pick five songs that will go with each Acts in “Macbeth” by Shakespeare. In each paragraph there are examples to why I think that the songs go with the act. I have also, picked scenes to help support my songs. There are five songs for each act.

To represent the first Act of Macbeth, I selected “Backstabbers” by The O’Jays. The reason I choose this song to represent this Act is because in Act I, Scene VII Macbeth and Lady Macbeth was talking about killing King Duncan, so that Macbeth could take his place as King. (Page 338-339 Lines 47-72). “All the time they want to take your place/ The backstabbers/(backstabbers)/. They talk about if they would fail and Lady Macbeth says: “We fail?
