Semi Standardized Interview:
We conducted semi standardized interviews with the participants and their family members. Capacity, opportunity and motivation framework (COM-B) and ANGELO domains were utilised to develop a comprehensive interview guide that focussed on reasons for arm use and perceived recovery (Appendix 1). The interviews were conducted in the natural language of the participant and were transcribed to English. A Sony audio recorder was used for recording. Field notes were used to document related observations. Based on initial few interviews we refined our interview guide.
Patient Examination: We examined their motor, activity, participation and current physical activity status using observational and standardized scales.
