Good morning Mrs Caine and class. The focus of this presentation is about satire. Satire is a type of humour this is enjoyed by the audience because it criticises the authority of well-known people. Satire uses irony and exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices particular people in government. The three examples are the video the visual and the written. The video is from the Simpsons showing slavery. The second example is a picture showing how people work hard and government take their work away from them. The last one is a written joke where will Ferrell is playing government and not knowing about global warming.

This is a social message saying how the government doesn’t know much about the things he is saying. This is worrying because the people we trust in and the people that run are county don’t know about the world we are living in. will ferrel is playing this skit because he’s showing the world that are government needs to understand how are world works. This is funny because will ferrel is mocking the government and showing people that they are not perfect and just like us. The audience is supposed to find this funny because they can realise that government isn’t perfect and makes mistakes just like us.
