In The Giver, the author shows us different ideas. One of those ideas is sameness which means (ADJC) the same for everyone. In Jonas’ community, people are told (PASS) what to wear, what to eat and where to live. Even though (TRANS) Jonas is thinking about leaving the community, he is forced (PASS) to leave more quickly than he wanted because he is tired of the sameness in the community.Because he has left the community, it might happen a lot of things. First, the community and people start being in the process of recovering the color and memories which (ADJC) are the effects on the community. Therefore, people are able to see colors. Black and white do not exist anymore. Also, their memories will be back, so they can remember what they have
