Romeo and Juliet do show true love because of the sacrifices they have made in order to try and be with the other, the biggest one is they killed themselves to be with the other but also Romeo didn't attack Tybalt and Juliet drank a possibly lethal potion so she could not marry Paris and be with Romeo. These examples show true love through their sacrifices and their perseverance. Throughout the story of Romeo and Juliet they both several times say they would rather kill themselves than be without the other one, when Romeo gets banished he says he´s going to kill himself because being dead is better than being without Juliet. Juliet threatens to kill herself, when her father is going to marry her off to Paris, if the Friar couldn't think
