Taking each chance is the best way to move forward and succeed. The first step I took towards being a successful person in my life, was my first trip toward my schoolhouse journey. I was born in Pakistan, where I started my education. Though we were Afghan refugees in Pakistan but still we did have chances to go to school and study. I was a top student during my educational period in Pakistan. I had dreams of becoming an engineer when I was ten. But, considering the dark background of an Afghan boy fled from his hometown, I didn’t really know where to start and how to fulfill my goals. When I just entered into Afghanistan, the whole city was fully damaged of home, cars, and tanks. When I just asked from my uncle, he said, “Afghanistan was at war, and it’s just a month that it’s over.” So in all likelihood, it was a bit different and frightening for me. But with that all situation, I began my secondary year of school and probably as I said even the solid building of the school was damaged. Within schoolhouse, there wasn’t any good classroom, any chair to sit. We were all sitting on the base and there was no chair. Thither was a hollow in the ceiling of our classroom and we predicated that water drop hole from the roof. Even, we didn’t receive any new books, no library, and no computer lab. And so far, it became good enough and we were somehow comfortable with the school life. But the problem was, my poor background of my family. The only one who was working in my family was my father. And there was not enough money to buy new books, to pay for the preparation classes in school. But after all, I handled them, And though it was a bit hard for me, but I study and graduated from an English language program from one of private courses. As I mentioned, it was war in the past years of Kabul, so it was completely dangerous and not enough good security in the whole city. Everybody was going to school and work with, full of tension from their family side. Due to not having enough good security, there were bomb blasts, suicide attacks, and child robberies. Because of this situation our family was scared, when we were going to school or course. Even we were scared during walking in the damage road. Every moment, whenever we were walking to school, thinking that somebody is coming after us, but there was no one. So finally I can say that It was too difficult to live and
