Racism: the hatred or intolerance of another race or races. Racism is a big problem in our society. People are very often doing things that are racist. When someone says or does something racist, they hurt more than just the people that the comment or act was aimed at. They hurt the relationship between both races as a whole. The more racism there is, the more different races will not tolerate each other, and the more racism there will be. Racism can apply to all races, it can hurt everyone, and there is never a good reason for it.
Racism doesn’t apply to only one race. When I think of racism, I generally think of a Caucasian as the antagonist and a person of another race as the victim. While, most of the time, these are the roles each person is in, reverse racism is a problem too. Reverse racism is when a Caucasian is the victim in the situation. Generally, this kind of racism is found a community without many Caucasians. A lot of the time, the people of other races do not accept them because of previous racist acts by other Caucasians. Sometimes, things that people say stick with a person for the rest of their lives. Racist things that someone says to another person may hurt that person more than anyone will ever know. Jokes that may seem funny to some people may really hurt another
