Hedda also controls Eilert Lovborg her former affair mate which she obviously never truly cared about him just the beauty of his death. During the middle of the play we realize Heddas sanity. In the play Lovborg is a recovering alcoholic who once again has gotten drunk. Lovborg loses his script due to his unstable sanity and wants to kill himself. “No, wait!
