Tell me, that I may sack/The hateful mansion” (Shakespeare 3.3 107-113) Is one of the scenes where Romeo has something going against him and he basically goes to suicide as his sort of plan B. Which basically correlates to teen suicide where people think they have nothing to live for or something is wrong in their life and they overreact and decide to kill themselves.
The fifth statement “So Shakespeare's play, despite its sympathy with the lovers, must be seen in relation to the contemporary idea of moral responsibility.” (The Moral Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet) This quite literally states that while Romeo and Juliet were deeply in love they should also have some personal responsibility towards themselves instead of making decisions without thinking. It shows that maybe you shouldn’t spring into love right away and should think about it first. This relates to teens as all teens should also have some moral responsibility, even if they are deeply in
