In Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain one of the themes is Racism and Slavery. Although slavery has ended in the real world for quite some time, racism still strikes some. For the story “From Slavery to Charleston” describe the brutal treatment endured by black people, I reason it a fair representation of my chosen theme. Our differences emphasize our capacities and define us better than who we are perceived to be. Character and sexual orientation is also affiliated with one’s modifications. While police brutality is a huge issue nowadays, on the other hand some people still carry on their hate for the African American society. The attacked on the church called the Charleston’s massacre that was committed by Dylan Roof is an example of the many cruel crimes faced by the black
