This essay will address the racism and prejudice of Harper Lee novel To Kill a Mockingbird. In the 1930’s in America and Canada racism and prejudice were large of society. In Harper Lee novel To Kill a Mockingbird this problem is evident in Maycomb. People that were colored were considered less than their peers. The whites were considered better than the African Americans. The racism and prejudice are that Boo Radley is a victim of prejudice, Atticus Finch is another victim of prejudice in the novel, Atticus Finch is another victim of prejudice in the novel, Tom Robinson is a victim of prejudice and racism in Maycomb because of his race.
