On page 269, Edward Bloor uses to qoute “the truth shall set you free” to show that it was about time for Paul to tell everyone the truth of how Luis Cruz died. When Paul heard Antoine Thomas tell him that qoute, he knew that if he tells everyone the truth, he will feel no longer burdened. He will feel like he had just escaped from a locked cage of horrible feelings. So the qoute basically means that if he tells the truth he will no longer feel like the weight of the world is on his shoulders being aimed toward Paul, and in life, When you finally tell the truth, you will no longer feel guilty or pressuered.
