(I) Introduction
Cultural Revolution poster is a special product of a special era in Chinese history with distinctive characteristics of the times. This article will look back from the perspective of the Cultural Revolution of Modern Art Design posters to explain the background and current situation, extraction and analysis of the Cultural Revolution, which constitutes its elemental composition and artistic design features a poster value.

Another important poster image is the image of the masses, especially the peasants and soldiers image. As a staunch supporter of socialism and Mao Zedong Thought, the people image in the poster is extremely clear. They not only have a strong physique, but also have full of political passion. We can see that the soldiers embrace "Little Red Book" and hold high the "Red Book" in the poster. It represents a symbol of Chairman Mao's highest instructions is absolute and is subject to advocacy.

The other masses image is that they clenched their fist and the soldiers are big, tall and just smaller than Mao. The fist would like to show that the Culture Revolution is a mass fighting and to persuade people to fight for Mao. On the other hand, according to Jiang Qing principle “highlight the main heroes in the positive character”. the big image of soldiers is going to going to sand the message that they are the heroes of the people who should follow their steps for the revolution.

(III) The fiery colors

The poster use "red" be a leader to highlight the image and render the atmosphere. This can format a clear color impression in people's psychological.

In the poster, the extensive use of red and other warm colors can heighten the atmosphere of the whole picture and achieve strong saturation. In this intense saturation contrast, the main character(Mao) shows more spirited and high morale momentum. This "warm echoes” is giving people special texture that makes the whole poster showing glorious, gorgeous, festive visual effect. It can show a bright future meaning.

(IV) The text
The texts have 3 features in the poster which only uses red in font color and “Blackbody” as the fonts in the first. The strokes are thick and powerful. It has a striking clear dissemination of results. Secondly, the poster used simplified Chinese as the main text format but not traditional Chinese. It not only shows a revolutionary attitude, but also represents an old tradition completely
