PER REPORTER: The reporter stated that she is reporting this incident, because her client (Arelia) whom is the Raeveona’s grandmother is concerned about the child not attending school. Arelia has custody of Raeveona but she could not get the child to go to school, and every time she would try to displine Raeveona her biological mother Latricia would interfere. The reporter stated that Latricia came to the house and took Raeveona with her because she would not listen to Arelia. However, Arelia told the reporter that she received a letter from Kimberly Sims stating that Raeveona has missed over five days of school. According to the reporter, Arelia then called Latricia and told her that Raeveona needs o attend school, and she needs to properly take care for her. …show more content…
However, Latricia volunteered to take her to school, and the reporter stated that both her and Arelia asked the Officer should they allow her to take the child and he said yes. The reporter also stated that there is not a reason that she knows of as to why the child does not want to attend school. She stated that the child is very belligerent and does not do anything she is supposed to do. The reporter also stated that she does not believe that Latricia is properly being cared for, because she believes that their may be people in the home with the child that should not be there. She also stated that Arelia also has custody of Raeveona’s sister Raven, but she listens to her and does what she tells her to do.
