Pro Choice vs. Pro Life There are many reasons on both sides of this issue of why people believe it is or is not okay to have an abortion. Many believe that it is a woman’s right to choose to end her pregnancy or not. The U.S. Supreme Court has declared that it is a right guaranteed by the Constitution. Many would also believe that in choosing to end her pregnancy, she is committing murder, and that although the child is unborn, it is still a living being with the same right to live as its mother. Pro Choice gives women the right to decide if having a child is right for her, and that choice does not end the moment she becomes pregnant.…

Also, abortion should always be made available in an emergency scenario, wherein, the mother’s life is threatened; this option of abortion should be left fully to the discretion of the parents. If the government is going to be involved in the regulation of abortion, then it needs to become more involved, and regulate each abortion based on a predetermined protocol. Furthermore, I will say that an embryo is a human life. Whether or not that life has Constitutional rights is not my decision, but I do believe that the world can be a sad one, and while abortion is, indeed, the taking of a human life, I believe that sometimes that taking is a necessary one. Saying that abortion is just wrong or right, in my opinion, is just lazy and ignores a great deal of the details of each mother’s…

There has been a long existing debate of “Pro-Life” versus “Pro-Choice” about whether or not women should be able to abort a child. Many people being Pro-Choice will use the argument that the fetus isn 't a living person, and rather that it is the woman’s body; therefore the woman’s choice. There are other options women have such as adoption: waiting until the baby is born and providing the child a well-suited family to properly care for them. I believe any way you can avoid aborting a child is better than abortion because you give the child a chance for life. An unborn child in the womb contains all of the characteristics for it to be considered living, proving abortion is morally and scientifically wrong.…

Abortion should be a part of a country’s contraception policy. People should plan their families and society must allow women to end unwanted pregnancies in order to deal with failures of birth control, cases of rape and cases of incest. Abortion should be legalized but discouraged. Legal, because it is a choice; discouraged because there are other more effective ways to prevent pregnancy than abortion. Abortion is all about allowing a woman to make her own decisions, in relation to her age, financial stability, relationship stability, and mental and physical capabilities.…
