It didn’t matter to me because I wanted to learn. I may have been at my low when I got there, but I sure did cherish the high. Success doesn’t come easily, however you can do anything you put your mind to if you just convince yourself that the odds are in your favor. Even when the odds were stacked against me, I persisted. The Odyssey is a testament that still applies to the modern era. Life is a long journey, there are ups and downs. However, with hard work and determination, you will always be able to reach your goals. Goals were never meant to be easy. Goals are a measurement to show the lengths a person will go to complete them. We are reminded that persistence is an attitude that helps us go forward in the face of difficulty when we consider the experiences of people like Odysseus and Oprah
