Do you like greek stories of greek gods and goddesses? The odyssey is about a man named ulysses that went to a war that lasted 10 year and it took 10 years to return to his home and on his way to his home he had to overcome many challenges. He has faced many monsters people and the gods for the sake of returning to his home to his family. If you keep trying and don't give up then you can accomplish anything you set your mind to. There are many examples of how perseverance is the important thing in the book. One example of perseverance being shown is when Ulysses was stuck on calypso's island he was stuck there for 7 years and he never gave up on trying to go back to his home.
