The lies that the city hides is very cruel and it is wrong. Books are so powerful, the people are really smart, the world is a pretty place if you just take time and look at how beautiful it is. In the book Fahrenheit 451 the author Bradbury points out that lying and over piling can be bad and is like trying to keep that hidden every day for your own selfish reason. The government in this book, I would say is very controlling and tries to be the most powerful, from keeping the people away from books and not seeing the world as it is.
