By observing the President, the idea was that I could gain insight into the organization by seeing who was leading them. A tall man, about 6’ 4”, he walks and speaks with confidence. Rarely getting to the meeting with any time to spare he heads right to his podium and takes out his notes. He waits patiently until about two minutes after the meeting is scheduled to start, then without any words motions to the Secretary to being. He is the first one called in role, and indicates his presence by lifting his own nameplate, the rest of the names follow in alphabetical order.
By this time, he has still not spoken to any member of the organization, yet most seem to look at, or in his general direction at all times (admiration, respect, intimidation?).
