I had the opportunity of observing Ms. Moreno working one on one with a 3st grade student with autism. Ms. Moreno explained to me that this student understands and is able to comprehend directions but his does not have language develop. In the classroom the student uses a software in the iPod call Sono Flex Lite to help him communicate with others. This software is an app that allow him to touch to the picture and by putting the picture together he can build the sentence that he will like to said by just pressing the play button.
