Examples Of Non-Certified Positions

Decent Essays
Looking at it from an internal view there are many non-certified positions, which could be filled by civilian staff. The evidence room is a great example, I know of many agencies where the property room is a certified officer and is assigned to the property room only, or it is an added duty of another officer. Some other examples would be the supply officer or armory officer for the lager agencies who have those and fill them with a certified officer. This officer could be freed of these duties and place in a more essential function.
