In the novel "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald , Nick Caraway has a high opinion of Jay Gatsby. Nick expresses this by the the way Nick talks about Gatsby when Gatsby is not around and when Gatsby is around. " There was something gorgeous about him, some heightened sensitivity to the promises of life." That is just one example of how Nick expresses about Jay Gatsby. Nick Caraway sees Jay Gatsby with much respect and has a high opinion of him. Nick Caraway has a high opinion of Jay Gatsby because he acts a certain way, he has an interesting life story and he has am image.

Nick Caraway has a high opinion of Jay Gatsby because Gatsby acts a certain way. Jay is not seen or heard of and Nick hardly sees him. Nick in the beginning doesn't know much about Jay . But Jay seems to treat Nick kindly and as if they had known each other for a long time. This seems to be suspicious and rare, but all Nick seems to do is think of Jay Gatsby as a god. Gatsby invites Nick to his grand parties , and Nick seems to be the only one invited . " I thought you knew, old sport. I'm afraid im not being a good host."

Early on in life Gatsby was from parents , who were middle class farmers. His family and he were not rich , they had not a lot of money. Then Gatsby goes to war , not knowing he would leave his poor life behind. Furthermore, he also leaves the love of his life, Daisy. When Gatsby comes back from war , everything changes for him. First, he finds out that Daisy got married to Tom Buchanan and they have a child. Gatsby decides to become something , so he works hard to being someone. Gatsby does all that for Daisy , so he can prove a point. Now Daisy sees Gatsby when he is rich and well known and
