Throughout my life I’ve been raised to be strong, responsible, caring, optimistic, and hard-working. I’ve been lucky to have an amazing family who supports and encourages me to be a better person and achieve my goals. I have been able to reach many accomplishments with this support. Due to several setbacks in my life, I have learned how important hard work and dedication truly is, and that nothing worth having comes easy. Self-motivation is one of the many skills that are important to develop. Other skills include helping others, taking initiative, and being a responsible student. I believe that being accepted into National Honors Society would be an overall reflection of my determination to not only work towards these
