As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. John F. Kennedy. Individuals take an oath to become a US citizen. Others are born here. We all must appreciate all that this great nation offers. If you are an American citizen in order to ensure our country's future you need to show your appreciation for our flag, opportunities, and veterans.
When we show appreciation for the flag we think of the men and women that have served this country. Because of their service we americans can enjoy the freedoms and opportunities that we have today. The flag represents all of the people who live in this great nation
