Mob Violence
People get caught up in mob violence everyday. Sometimes without realizing it and it may not even correspond with that person’s thoughts and beliefs. That 's why mob mentality is so inconceivable. It can take the most simple and ordinary person and turn them into a lost individual working for the mob’s dangerous premeditation. Because if everyone else is doing it, and everyone else believes in it, then why not? Everyone, at least once in their life, will become caught up in mob mentality.

One of Hitler’s main motivations for his “hatred” of jews began when WW1 was coming to its end, Hitler was being medically taken care of after being the victim of a gas attack. When the news of the loss of the war made its way to him, he became depressed for months. He felt like he didn’t have anything to do and seemed to wander around life without a purpose. It was in the middle of this period that he struck with the idea, along with many other Germans, of revenge. (CITE) Hitler was an exceptional public speaker, and after the loss WW1 along with the hardships(CITE) that Germany faced afterwards, it probably wouldn’t have taken much to convince his country that he could put them out of their misery. He used the power of the German people to take out a specific group of people. That sounds incredibly familiar when comparing it to Abigail from the crucible. It could be argued that the group of people she and the other girls beside her accused didn’t belong to one specific religion like the jewish people, but the reason for their accusations were based on them having a sort of Satanist lifestyle. In the story, Abigail made many good points and even threats, and these young girls were all sick of being pushed around by their overly religious elders, and having to live a remarkably boring and prudish
