The leading of a team or group is not a simple task but involves real life skills that take time, thinking and commitment. The role of leadership is an essential aspect of an organization since it can determine the difference between success and failure. “Although leaders are gifted in different ways, with different personalities and varying skill sets, all leaders can grow, become more skillful, and become more competent so that they can achieve greater effectiveness” (Ledlow & Coppola, 2014, pp. 10). At times, leadership may seem overwhelming and complicated, but by concentrating on specific fundamentals they will find that they can guide the team with the assurance and competence. After taking the assessment tests the results identified strengths of a steward leadership styles. The stewards are dependable, trustworthy and supportive, and they provide a stabilizing and appeasing force for their staff. They respect rules, develop, and collaborate. They believe that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. They also, take care of those individuals who struggle. The traits that I can develop from Oprah comprise of a confidence person, persistence, and being an exceptional speaker. However, being an extraordinary woman as Oprah I believe that her traits are better than mind because she is a strong woman despite her problems that she has encountered she was able to overcome any obstacle in her life and doing it with confidence. Oprah works at her desired pace where the steward traits work at the pace of company. Therefore, they can only go so far when permitted by the company. On the other hand, Oprah can also incorporate some of these steward traits because with transformational their rules and regulations are flexible whereas the steward traits value and respect their
