In both the book Night by Elie Wiesel and the song Say Something (i’m giving up on you) by A Great big world they both show internal conflict by questioning loyalty. Wiesel starts to think “if only i could get rid of this dead weight …..Immediately i felt ashamed of myself, ashamed forever.” (PAGE NUMBER). Elie begins to question his loyalty to his dad. Elie loves his dad but he doesn’t know if he can make it while taking care of his dad. This shows internal conflict. “Say something i’m giving up on you” (Say something). The guy in the song is talking about a relationship he has with a girl, he is questioning his loyalty to this girl. This shows internal conflict.
