Three specific ways Interaction between humans and the environment has played itself out in the course of United States history are: Native Americans living on the foreign land, colonization in America 13 colonies, and exploitation of the environment. Before America was “discovered” by Columbus, tribes had been living there for hundreds of years, learning from their ancestors and nurturing the land they live on. Despite times changing since it was first initiated in the Neolithic Era, gender roles have yet to change because as many would say, “this is a man's world,” and still by those who deny it it is undeniable that society is majorly patriarchal.
