Did you know that 1 in 6 people in America face hunger? It is sad to know that food insecurity is so common in such a developed country. When we sit down at the table with a full plate, we are grateful for what we have. But just having gratitude is not enough: we must also show it, because “feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.” As a result, I think that the best way to show our appreciation is through charity. In conclusion, gratitude extends far beyond appreciation: it is being thankful for what you have, as well as giving back to others.
A lot of people in the community can not afford food, so the canned food drive would be a great opportunity to express my gratitude. I would also like to help
